Hai ASEANers!
In this time, let’s fly to Thailand and discover its history and beauty. Thailand is popular as a tourist destination due to its geographical and cultural importance. It has some of the most exquisite beaches, rural getaways, Buddhist temples, and shopping malls.
The first stop is Ayuthaya, which is a popular tourist site due to its history. Ayuthaya is the temple's particular district. You can take the train from Hua Lamphong Station for only 20THB. This district took three hours to reach. It's quite a distance, but the journey along the way was enjoyable. Because tuk-tuks are quite pricey for a solitary traveller, you can walk to the temple's centre. We walked for around 30 minutes to the first temples, Wat Mahathat and Wat Ratchaburana, which are well-known for the face of Buddha in the middle of the stem. The admission charge is 50THB, however if you have a student card, it is only 10THB.
After exploring Ayyuthya, let's head to Pattaya, another Thai city with a distinct personality. The first destination was Big Buddha; the view from there was spectacular; we could see half of Pattaya. This Big Buddha became the focal point for Buddhists to pray and is also known as Wat Phra Yai Temple. There were many additional sculptures around this location that represented Buddha sculptures. If there is an event, this location will sometimes prepare for it. Use Songtaew to Jomtien from Pattaya Beach, and ask the driver to stop so you can walk up the hill for around 30 minutes. The next stop was Pattaya View Post, which is located across from the Big Buddha.
The final stop is China Town, which began with Golden Mount Buddha. From Hua Lamphong Train Station, take bus no. 47 to the nearest bus stop nearby (please consult Google Maps). It just cost 7 THB. The admission fee is 50THB, however if you are a student and produce your student ID, you will receive a free ticket. This area was incredible, the palace-like slope, so we had to hike the stairs up, and the vista made it all worthwhile. On the upper stage, you can pray to the Buddha. This location was tranquil, and I would recommend visiting. The Giant Swing is only around a 10-minute walk from Golden Mount Buddha. This is similar to the centre image of China Town.
That’s a glimpse of Thailand, you should visit! You may go shopping for its cheap price, while the tourist attraction is temples are more interesting to discover more. Let us know which place that you’ve been to. And tell us which destination should we visit on the next trip.
